Firework licensing in Northern Ireland

Fireworks licences are granted by the Department of Justice and usually take 6-8 weeks. We will fill in all the necessary paperwork and carry out a risk assessment and a site visit. We will liaise with Environmental Health and/or HSE. Be aware that there is a non-refundable licence fee. Our experts have the required testing and safety knowledge to ensure that you receive the safest and most suitable fireworks for your event. We also offer a range of pyrotechnic and non-pyrotechnic effects.

A reputable, licensed firework company

In Ireland, there are very strict rules and regulations on who can use fireworks. At Pains Fireworks, we import fireworks and pyrotechnics and store them until needed. Being certified by the British Pyrotechnists Association (BPA), we can also legally store the fireworks for your event if it is postponed for any reason. Pyrotechnics licensing in the Republic of Ireland

For each fireworks display, the licences for that event are granted by the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform and usually take 4-6 weeks. Our knowledgeable team will fill in all the required paperwork and carry out a risk assessment and a site visit. We will liaise with the local Fire Brigade and Gardaí on your behalf. There is no licence fee. For your peace of mind, we also have public liability insurance of £10 million. Based in Londonderry, we cover customers throughout Ireland.
